Add "Close & Move Thread" Thread Tool

This hack adds "Close & Move Thread" to the list of options in the "Thread Tools" so mods can quickly close and move a thread. Great for forums that have a lot of "current events" threads (or similar) that get archived or closed quicky. Though it might be usefull to others (my moderators love it). This function requires the user to have permission to Move the thread, but does not require the user to have permission to close the thread.

I will attempt to give support either here or VIA PM. Please let me know if you have any problems.

Requires:
- One New Custom Phrase
- One New Template
- Editing SHOWTHREAD Template
- Editing postings.php File

Works On:
- vBulletin v3.0.0 Gold (haven't tested in older versions)

You forgot to add the attachment. :)

Shouldn't the user really have permission to move the thread and also permisiion to close the thread before this link showed up to them? Is there a way to make it work like that? ;)

Great...! I really would like to have this kind of Mod on my forum!

Is there anyone using this Mod?

:erm: Also, there is this situation which keeps me in doubt about it:

"This function requires the user to have permission to Move the thread, but does not require the user to have permission to close the thread."

Well... I really would NOT like that anyone could close a thread without permission... :(

Any one could help, please?

lemme chk it..............
